Hi today I write about this year what ends tomorrow. Well this year it was a little strange but very good, I started the year whit an amazing trip with my friends by southern of Chile and Argentina. I saw a wonderful landscape the best of this trip it was swam every day in the lakes and dived with only lung but other thing what happened me it was the taking of the faculty

Hi geofriends

Until now I never have a blog even this year when I started the class of English three whit Carroza class. It was the first time writing in a blog. I knew this platform but I don t use. When I start to write in this I think in my mind in English the topic and relate the words what I will use to write all in English and when I don’t remember a word or phrase I write in Spanish and search in English or I ask the teacher or classmate, I comment once a week for the class to my classmates but not very often because I only use the blog for the class. The blog what I enjoy reading is the friends “Luciano”, the “Pony” and Simons blog’s a because I like know about they thinking and stories and experiences what they are lived. My favorite post is when I write about “the job” for carroza class because I write about the situation of job of the teacher it was a disclaimer for bad conditions that are found is near reality for me because my parents are teachers and I see this and this bad conditions is for this fuck system not affecting only teacher if not also for all of us. Is interesting write in this blog because I don t use often the English since 2011 when I left the school and start the English class this year  it has served me to remember how use the English and words and I like write because is a good form to express oneself.    

december 10

Hi geopasteros

Today i wrote about what i did the last week on December 10. Like every day i got up and i took my breakfast and went to the University for a field trip to La campana Park by the Biogeography class and can’t go to the English class. The field trip started at 8:30 a.m and arrived to the park at 10 o 10:30 a.m. I don’t remember the hour exactly but it was war day but I was not an obstacle by walked in the park. I watched a different types of vegetation and typical of the this zone how the palma chilena, quisco, litre, quillay and others an one type of vegetation typical of the south zone  but here by the climatic conditions one them of the humidity this is the roble it was a good field trip and when arrived to Santiago I drank a beer.

Interesting subject

Hi today I write about I subject I had studied for the university. I don’t like much study but in this subject I like it. This subject is biogeography who teach this subject is new teacher who arrived this semester to college is an environmental biologist. I learn the distribution of different flora and fauna species, causes and the spatial location also theories. I like this course because is the mix of biology and geography and is very interesting learn about the species and their characteristics and as it has been its evolution in the time and which is their actual situation if they are in risk or not because many of this changes is cause by ourselves “human activity” and the use of tools for modeling species, distribution and located whit SIG programs what I don’t like is talk much about theories and less of species and the focus and approach sometimes the teacher gives he interested in learn theories but I think it is not as important but I understand they serve to learn and to understand this. I think it is important to learn and understand the biogeography because it teaches us about the nature and environment and how its composed and the risk suffering the different species is good knowledge and it serves to pay attention and watch the environment more slowly and appreciate in this time that demands a quick life and understand in this world that also we live not only humans. 

BRASIL SQUARE

Hi today I write about a special place in Santiago that I like to go. I don’t go to this place as often, but I have the best remember of my childhood. It is the “Brasil” square located in the center of Santiago. I was very often when I trip to Santiago to visit my grandparents always my grandfather took us many squares or park for play and not be boring in the house, the first time I went I went whit my brothers and grandfather the first thing I saw was the different and bigger slides each whit different forms and figures as volcano were very different than conventional slides. Jump off a volcano slide it was very funny for the height and adrenaline I‘ve never seen equal slides in other places or parks in Santiago or other cities additionally having these slides there are other plays and very trees and green areas whit grass for to realize a picnic or sleeping or running through the grass  and  ping pong tables Is a good place for spend good times whit family, friends any day. The last time when I went I was the last year for march and a store that is close is important this places because it’s in the center of the city is very easy get there and is bigger square for fun, relax and amusement much people going there every day  its tranquility . I recommend this place for to pass good moments

a house for relax

I would like have a house on the beach or lake because I don’t like much live in the city the noise and the people is very strange, before coming to study in Santiago I live in los andes a small town really quiet and arrive to Santiago to the fast life without much quiet but los andes stopped being quiet city in the last year It has grown considerably because I like have to a house far of the big cities for have moments of relax and peaceful and like to swim in the beach or lake but I prefer a lakes but I would like the house close to the lake o beach whit a big yard to have a garden to plant different types of plants and have my four dogs to accompany me and invite friend for have good times and relax I hope this happens

Clotario Blest

I would like to meet a lot of people, but the most I would like to meet Clotario Blest, but he died in 1990 and I wasn’t born yet. Clotario Blest was a well know guy in the Chile of that time and Important for the popular history of the country. Always sided with the underprivileged off the country and tirelessly fighting against cons injustices on the popular and working classes. He is known by organizing the working class in Chile, creating Several unions as Anef and one organization bringing together a Several Central Workers union CUT, improving their living conditions and promoting the organization in Chile, as founder of MIR also struggled against the dictatorship of Pinochet by shaving his beard as a symbolic gesture for those who were killed and went missing during the dictatorship. I'm interested because it was one of the few who has been an organizer of the working classes paragraph demand their rights of working classes without any fear of the out coming problems. He is a brave person, because he always defended the injustices without fearing the authorities of the time. Their efforts were often stopped but he always managed to come out and keep fighting, nothing stopped him. I would have liked to talk about what I have to be an organizer of the classes against their employers and how could all the workers arrange into one organization and speak about his political thinking; what he believed, what I admire of his courage, of his fight and devotion, leaving all aside just for the collective benefit. It is one of the most admirable characters in the history of Chile but a very forgotten person.

WHEN I WENT A RESTORANT

Hi I write about of restaurant, but I don’t go much a this places because I prefer use the money in eat whit my family in the house and eat much and delicious food that pay a restaurant for eat and receive a few portion. But I remember a restaurant I went whit all my family, grandparents, parents, brothers, uncles and cousins for celebrate my grandmother birthday’s, I don t remember the name because later the restaurant burned and in that place now is unused plot, it was located in Vitacura between Kennedy and Padre Hurtado streets it was a big restaurant when I went the restaurant was full all tables used by clients. The place was a recognized restaurant by dishes and barbeque. I liked it for the situations all my family gathered to celebrated and the barbeque it was the specially of the house very very delicious, whit much meats, little sausage, and others but I don’t remember but it was barbeque for 16 persons in the place we occupied many tables it was the table whit more persons, I don’t remember much the decorated. I don t go again because burned I think after the burned the restaurant it change a other place but I not sure but I don t go to the new place because I don’t have the money to pay only if the situations of celebrate somebody of my family  I will go. I hope you like it see you soon add me your blogger.       

A GOOD TIME

Hi everybody today a write of unusual toccata .I haven’t go to a big concert or haven’t seen famous artist or groups, but the best I‘ve seen it was the last year in September in the unusual place the bank of Mapocho river, it was not a big concert it was a activity in support for inhabitants who fighting by the right to have a worthy living place to lives, in mode of protest they encamped in the bank river about 3 or 4 months. The activity played a various artists and whit different styles of music, hip-hop, rock and others, but I can’t saw all artist. When I arrived the activity had already started and the best it was free if you wanted to go only came down to river. In that opportunity I can saw a Portavoz and Subverso, they are rappers singers and their songs and lyrics have lot social content many songs speaks about the reality I like much their music is was the third same I saw. I remember the stage was much improvised it was the roof of “MEDIA AGUA”. I really enjoyed because I went whit my friend Luciano and came down it was very difficult by the height but we did it and more than saw the artists it was support the background of the activity because it can’t be the right of worthy living place is only but the persons that have the money and means and others can’t the means they can’t access it. 

the field trip

The best a field trip I had, it was the last year in the class “Geology” when we went to the Teno and Mataquito rivers on the Valley of the seventh region of Chile from the Andes Mountains until river mouth in the beach of Iloca by the weekend. I went to with the teacher and classmates. In this field trip the target it was to recognize the different types of geomorphology having the place through of years. I don’t remember the all stop we had but were many in different places, and each places has unique characteristics and different formation process. I did a lot things how I saw other landscape very beautiful and the Teno Rivers which is big river and they want a put a hydroelectric power plant. I enjoyed much this field trip because it was out of Santiago in other Region by the weekend and stayed one night in Gualañe School, at night we ate a barbecue all classmates and teacher shared. Is good chance to meet and share with the other classmates. The field trip is very important because is the form to learn of the geography seeing the different process live and put into practice everything I learned in class.  

The Job

I think that the worst job is to be a teacher. They work more than eight hours dayly and they have to work at home afterwards, plannig their classes and making interviews with the parents of the children. 

In our society it is also a bad valued job, because they have bad income and they have to work all day long. They live constantly under pressure, becase the excessive work and multiple employers. This also have consecuenses in their families, because they don´t have enogh time for them. 

Others problems they have is the great violence they have to suffer from their students and from their parents, specially in the low class population. This is caused, because neither of them wants for the students to be bad evaluated. This phenomenom cause that the students “have” to be good evaluated although they have a bad performance, genereting a false feeling that they receive a good education and generating frustration in the teachers.

They are also bad paid, althoug their professional training and the many hours of work. This is beccause education is not a priority for our society, trying to give a type of education for the mayority of the population that is not of excellence and the same system, not to achive a developement of the individuals. This can conduce to a frustration for the people who has a vocation as educators.

A few mounths ago the teachers have taken to the streets of the country, demanding laboral improvents and the stoped the teaching reform only seeking exploit a the teachers under the neoliberalism. I think the best jobs is not exist, but the job is the exploitation of a few on others, for about few “pesos” and doing rich others whit the job of one, this thanks to the capitalist system.

America Football Cup

 Before the depart of the C.A, people were already waiting what would happen in the cup, since it could be the rematch after losing to Brazil last year and be eliminated from the World Cup. And by the quality of the Chilean team players, many of them play in the biggest clubs in the world, everyone hoped that once in the history of the Chilean football we actually won a cup, and it happened.

The Chilean victory is the first in 100 years, filling the streets with crowds of people regardless of class, leaving aside all quarrels and differences.

 But this cup is nothing more than a mere show. Bread and circus for the people, alienating the people, since everything was related to football, aparting them from the national reality, the awake and discontent people, but this awakening was overshadowed by the media only talking about football, covering numerous cases of political corruption, the new reforms, protests against them, state repression, detention and torture of students and only criminalizing social protest and boasting the football as the solution that people need. To the political class that governs us, as the popular expression says it “fit like a glove” to them, so people would forget the country's problems, it was expected that all political parties focused on the president with his followers, robbers, celebrating goals, showing as if nothing had happened, boosting approval, which happened, at the end of C.A., the govern increased the approbation  taking pictures whit the players and inviting them to the govern palace to continue the show, while in the street people protesting and getting only violence by the state. For me it was nothing more than a mere show to return to the lethargy that has cost us so much to escape. This events are social control weapon.  

Tragedy in the North of Chile

  The last week an unusual rains in the north and center of Chile, nobody expected these unusual rains were so devastating in the north, causing so destruction in the cities how Atacama, Copiapo and others cities, producing large floods and dead persons, removal of houses, roads, etc.

In my opinion in this catastrophe can see the reaction and power of citizen front this. The reaction of the people of the north, it was organize for lifting of the cities because the government’s reaction it was very slow, whit the help, say the affected residents , even    denying assistance from other countries how Bolivia sending water and others  inputs . The People are not prepared to fight these disaster situations , the State should invest in policy for the people who know how to react faced with these situations and can prevent in the future becuase  in the north are not prepared for rain as it does not rain much in the year .

Some cities are blasted , covered by mud and water and  generating many victims, it says about 90 percent of devastating in Copiapo, is reported a lot victims there are 23 dead persons and 57 missing persons, this number are expected to increase in the courses of the day. Is needed urgent and quick help to start again cleaning and rebuilding the cities is needed, remove sludge and debris  to end the health emergency to prevent the spread of diseases it would be very risky.

The authorities need to act quickly to keep searching for victims and deliver help quickly to people so that by little start back to normality in the affected cities in the north. This reconstruction of the north take long for this is essential for our help. The best solution is to help the North now.

My Summer Holidays

This year i had a different summer in this two months.

The firsts months i stayed between Santiago and Los Andes, the city where i was living when i wasn't started the university, I met again whit old friends of the school i didn't see for a lot time.

A friend came to visit Los andes for the wekeend, i taught a tricks my dog, In the ends of junary i was started my journey through southern chile and argentina whit my friends, i saw a wonderful and unique places,how the araucaria forest in the Villarica national park and Puelo lake in Argentina is a big lake whit turquoise water and very deep it seemed more

sea than a lake. To reach Argentina i crossed the frontier from Chile walking on foot and arrived to Argentina in 4 days,in that hike days i met a lady and her family , she invited us to stay the night for eat and rest to continue the journey next morning on the way i saw a lot diffirents journey it can not last forever I had birds i had never seen before how Martin pescador, chucao and torcaza but the to return to Chile but when I arrived, i went to La Serena whit my family, we visited Coquimbo and Elqui Valley, we ate the typical food of this region. And these were my summer see you later bye.
